Recognition for my piece ‘Papa’

At the opening for the 36th Artistry member art exhibition, my struggling father and daughter piece ‘Papa’ won ‘excellence in 3D’! I’m very grateful for this recognition, and that my visualizing ambiguous emotions has been rewarded this way. I will never forget the moving conversations I had with visitors that night, and the thoughtful and poignant words that juror Suyao Tian found to describe this piece, and why she chose it for the award.
