Drumroll please! This Day of the Dead sculpture that I have been working on, in secrecy, for the last 4 months, was installed today, La Doña Cervecería . When Sergio Manancero, one of the owners, contacted me about this commission in May, I thought „This is almost to cool to be true“. But true it was, it all worked out miraculously, and here she is, looking gorgeous. Thank you SO MUCH, Ina and my dear husband, for all your help, support and advice! This has been a 5 month jou…rney for me and the excellent people of La Dona Cerverceria that entrusted me with this project. I’ve never built, glazed, fired or installed anything this large – much was learned 😊. Thanks so much also to Mark J Lusardi from Continental Clay for all your invaluable advice and support.
